Nabusimake Sierra Nevada (to the south)
Nabusimake, “where the sun is born” in arhuaco, is located in the center of the Sierra Nevada at the borders of the smooth stone river that divides the department of Cesar with the Magdalena, two hours away from Pueblo Bello, “Beautiful Town”. It is the sacred scene of the Arhuaca culture. It is the place destined for meetings or simply the crossing place to where the natives get to rest, to make their payments, offerings or to prepare their food to later follow their way to the Earth where their spirit was born.
